Controversial but most likely truth of Christianity was that the early Christians viewed Jesus as being "revealed" to them through intense study of scripture (the OT already had hundreds of years of back dating psyop bullshit that played into a messianic figure to create a self fulfilled prophecy) and as a heavily abstracted (and very Platonic) philosophical idea. Similar to how the old Greek gods were anthropomorphized representations of moods, passions, desires and representations of important things e.g. gods of war. Jesus Christ was viewed in a mystic sense as being the anthropomorphized representation of the logos itself. That is to say, there was no historical physical Jesus at all but that shit was added on with the Gospels with that specific sect of Christianity winning out, mostly through violence, and destroying all of the other sects that predated it with the "truth" being lost. East Orthodox and bits of Catholicism (especially the mystics) reached as close as they could before becoming heretical to this OG concept which is just a religious-philosophical concept that deals a lot with ethics and ontology, albeit an extremely cucked worldview as Nietzsche's arguments against Christianity are fairly solid in this regard, viewing Christianity as a very feminine slave morality juxtaposing itself against the "evil" empires of the time which is really no different than Communists viewing the evilness of capitalism or poor resentful cunts viewing anyone who is successful as being evil as well. In terms of its purpose, its original purpose was to become the new Jewish order of Judea rivaling the "evil" Pharisees who were in league with the Romans, but in a similar vain to memes in general, it took on a life of its own and quickly grew to eventually dominating even Rome. All that is to say, there was very much a political aspect to it.

Again, the heart of Christianity, especially when you rip away all of the slave morality Jew shit, you're left with essentially myth version of middle Platonism. So to actually answer the question of OP: There are many aspects of Christianity that when viewed properly, reveal a deep philosophical understanding of reality. There is very much an extremely c*cked aspect to Christianity (effectively all of the "based" shit that happened throughout the history of Christendom where just Pagans operating under the banner of Christianity and not as a result of Christianity itself). Modern Atheism is just a secular form of Christianity with the same sheepish view of reality but with the added benefit of at least being heavily rooted in Platonic thought.

Extreme autism tl;dr
>Mithras sacrifice of the Bull>Christianity's "sacrifice" of the sheep to the shepherd
>>
It didn't
if it had, you'd be posting whatever version of the fedora meme Christians did to themselves like the gaytheist edgelords from leddit did and calling it whatever the fuck that would be instead of "fedora"

but you can't, there is nothing like that Christians have ever managed to do on the internet somehow
there is literally no comparison, that's how absolutely cringe the fedoras were

to this day the only thing they can do to cope is denigrate themselves by saying "Christards are le fedora maymay too XD"
as you see ITT, their cringe never dies and the internets do not forget or forgive

>words words words

AND it's Jesus mythicism cope
basically fedorautism 2.0 after the Zeitgeist epic fail
tldr
>>
>>17273534
cool so you must have some sort of meme you can post like you can a simple fedora

like, a meme that you could fill a folder with hundreds of examples with that people took pictures of themselves doing

for example, *tips fedora with katana and trenchcoat m'lady*
oh wait, that's simply not the case

Evangelical Christianity was way more cringe in the Bush era. We haven't reached that level yet. And t.bh I'm not convinced that Christianity is the worst thing right now. Gen Z men becoming muslims or women being witches are two strong contenders for that title.

I used to watch the late night evangelical Christian channel with friends because the programming was hysterical and we were smoking weed.

They even had a call-in line.

Are you one of those "HAIL ODIN" types, or do you have taste and managed to gravitate towards the Greek mysteries and oracles?

Religious people are pretty smug. This isn't exclusive to Christians.

Jordan Peterson unlocked a whole aspect of Christianity for the west that had been mostly forgotten by the average retard since the Reformation. Which elevated the role of Christianity from being about a sky daddy to being something that actually has philosophical significance. The average person before Jordan Peterson became famous unironically viewed religion like Christianity as just being some bearded man in the sky.

>unironically viewed religion like Christianity as just being some bearded man in the sky.
And most still do. I was in class in community college, we were talking about the conceot of God, and the Christians literally spent the whole time arguing that God was literally some guy in a chair (not a metaphor, not the universe itself, not "oneness", not emptiness, not a higher conciousness, not a higher exsistence, no, a guy with magical powers on a cloud).
>>
>>17273818
All Peterson unlocked is religious but not spiritual Christian atheism lmao. The idea that you can be a Christian even if you think ALL of it is a metaphor and don't believe in all that silly God or miracle stuff. The death throes of a two thousand years old religion.
>>
>>17273861
What if I told you that Jesus being a living person who resurrected was thrown in many decades later and the OG view was that he was just a mystery religion philosophical idea representing the logos?
>>
>>17273877
I'd say that it's probably not true, but I don't care either way.

they realized they were worshipping a jew raised by a cuck the whole time, and they just couldn't cope

Theyre bubble people. The tradcathlarpers just wish they could be the Muslim morality police and get a pass to be awful. They don't believe or follow any of the tenants they 0retend to support. I met one who believes the God of Abraham is different than the god of the same Abraham. That over saturated electronic images of the show gods goodness and completely erases things like the burn ward of children's hospitals. Ignorance is a strength.
I was raised in a church. There's people i can't mention dinosaurs around cuz it causes them to mentally shut down

the way I see it, talking about /his/, these christcucjs are what happens when you take an antisemite tranny and make him worship a jewish religion, just add discord trannying into the mix, the recipe for total human catastrophe
>>
>>17274245
Its any group that pushes moral superiority to those around you. They're not terribly different from the woke crowd, they replaced cis white male and nazi for fedora tipper. Changed the word problematic for cringe. Etc...

Atheism doesn't do the same thing to the mind as Christianity
Christianity is a bath for the soul, very few religions can compete in the same way

It changes the person
Eventually into a complete degenerate, if you're intelligent and actually understand what the bible is is getting at
But God does seem to tolerate the degenerated

Low IQ Christians seem to do the best
They can't read between the lines and end up trying their hardest not to sin

It all works out in the end
>>
>>17273714
>Are you one of those "HAIL ODIN" types, or do you have taste and managed to gravitate towards the Greek mysteries and oracles? I study all forms of European paganism. Celtic, Norse, Roman, Greek. Even branch out into Egypt.
>>
>>17275557
But where are your devotions, the rituals and initiations?

Having an academic interest in religion is fine, I have that same inclination. But there's a big difference between knowing about something and really beliving in it.
