Where does the 6 million number come from. If you look at these population stats you get a 5.3 million population decrease. If you subtract, lets say, 200,000 just from living in a war zone then you're only left with 5.1 million victims of the holocaust. I mean, it doesn't make that big of a difference, but where does the 6 million number come from?
You need to subtract 1947 population from the projected 1947 pop, not 1939 pop.
