There's Oriental Orthodox, Eastern Orthodox, and Nestorian. They're each very different.

The prophecy commands to clear the way for the Lord, the Hebrew text has it as Yahweh (clear the way for Yahweh). This means Yahweh himself is coming.
Malachi 3

Here God is speaking, and tells that he will send his messenger who will prepare the way for HIM, and the Lord awaited for (the messiah) is coming to HIS temple.
But the temple is not for man, it is for God (1 Chronicles 29:1) a temple for man would be idolatry. This shows that the Lord who is coming is God in the flesh.
