Help me Obi Wan Kenobi you're my only hope. I'm looking for a historical reenactment video. WW2, Nazi Germany invading some European neighbor's village, I don't know which - Poland maybe? It seems to be a local tradition, these people do it annually. It's a well done reenactment, and a great recording of it, shot from an upper story window perspective with a good view from behind the resisting villagers' line. The Germans are uniformed army, rifles, grenades, over the course of the battle they bring up machine guns and then an armored car/tank of some kind. The villagers resist heroically at first. Everyone knows what to do when the alarm sounds, furniture is dragged out to the streets to form a rushed low cover barricade, the men are lying in a line shooting rifles while others help load, women running out ammo and dragging in the wounded, some dying in the attempt. One by one the villagers are picked off, until the German advantage is too great and the remaining survivors flee into the buildings if they can. The Germans move up the street tactically, force any villagers out onto the street. The men are separated from the women and knelt facing the wall for a while before being shot, some women are marched off but a pretty one is carried over the shoulders of two laughing soldiers with booze in hand, a general plundering and celebration begins. Youtube search used to be able to find stuff like this but obviously it's trash now for anything remotely educational, does anyone remember/know/have this video?
