I know this is somewhat subjective, but an issue I have with the Protestant churches is that they don't seem to have any saints (meaning extremely holy and pious people often associated with miracles). Where is the Padre Pio of Lutheranism, or the baptist Saint Paisios, etc?
>my issue with protestantism is that they didn't uncritically adopt the hellenic tradition of attributing godhod to some human
>>17278725>the hellenic tradition of attributing godhod to some humanAll Christians have to accept that Jesus is both man and God
>>17278731must all humans accept that god copy-pasted a certain saint so three different churches could store his body?
>>17278571Many Protestant denominations believe the age of miracles ended with Jesus But there are tons of Americans about claiming to be capable of faith healing or talking with God or whatever if that's what you want
>>17278745I understand there's a lot of myths and superstition surrounding saints, but there are genuinely very pious people who have well attested miracles associated with them.
>don't seem to have any saintsUnlike Trump he got murdered and resurrected like Jesus
>>17278571>Protestant churches is that they don't seem to have any saintsAccording to the Bible, if we repent and believe in Jesus, then the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all our sin. That makes us holy, so all of us who are born again are saints.
>>17278918I know a saint is anyone saved/in heaven, I meant it in the sense of a miracle-working holy person (basically whatever the archetype of Padre Pio is, or even non-Christians like Ibn taymiyyah or rabbi Schneerson)
