There's always been a discussion about what these old statues and idols and little trinkets were made for. Like whether it's some fertility idol, it's a decoration, religious significance, etc.
But let's be honest. Playboy didn't exist back then, so maybe it's just to help the guys have something to look at, you know? Like I recently got picrel from a warehouse for a few bucks and I was just sitting down looking at the girl statue, and I'll be honest, it's making me want to act up, got my face all warm and flustered. So that made me think, are the really old statues and idols just essentially penthouse magazine for 1200 BC? What do you all think?

That certainly could be one use of idols. It cannot be to the exclusion of other functions though. Let's not forget that many idols are not made to look sexually attractive. They often do seem to be made to inspire certain emotions thought.
