That's true, but what one chooses to criticize says something about the critic, especially if they spend significant time and effort to bring attention to a specific vice. It's not necessarily hypocrisy, but it could easily be some other neurosis reflective of the critic's insecurity.

All arguements get misused or overused from time to time, particularly on 4chan where the standard of debate isn't particularly high.
But sometimes it can be true and is made obvious by what the person has previously said or something
