>>17282544MHMD isn't real, it's a title, an adjectival title (similar to any other positive adjectives), attributed to Jewish exilarchs – after, way after the temple's destruction – claiming to be the messiahs. MHMD, the quran, hadiths etc, were invented between 9th and 11th century, with MHMD being an adjectival title attributed to Jews exiled in the Middle East claiming to be the messiahs. Here's the twister, after the temple's destruction, Jews still wandered around the area, not all of them (especially not Rome-aligned loyalists at least) were taken as slaves or dispersed.
>>17283404And here's another twister: most of these exilarchs were from & found a base of support in Ctesiphon.

Did they and others just randomly decide to go with the Abbasid LARP, and that too despite many of them being at odds with the Abbasids?
>>17283414Fairytale, fairytale characters that didn't exist (the “prophet”, his “companions/sahaba”...). All those fairy tales were inspired by events happening in the Near East in Parthia/Eastern Arabia substrate, and Yemen. Bukhari, Tabari, Hisham were court mythographers (chroniclers inventing propaganda and “legitimacy”) for chieftains in Parthia, Eastern Arabia & Yemen, that were rehearsed & retconned as “caliphs”. There was a “caliph” that had many, many children – Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan ibn al-Hakam. Among his children were Muhammad, Umar, Abu Bakkar, Aisha etc. I think his parents were also an inspiration. This caliph, safe to say, used his children and family as inspiration for these court mythographers to give names to the fairy tale of the “prophet”, his “companions” and others. The “final edition” so to speak was finalized between 9th and 11th centuries. The hadiths, also, were most likely add-ons by later “caliphs”, after the quran was released in multiple editions, spanning different rulers from Yemen, Parthia, Eastern Arabia. They couldn't tinker with the quran any more than they wanted, so they tasked court mythographers (again, propagandists) to invent, add their versions and so on. Bukhari for example claimed that he eliminated a lot of “hadiths” and he picked and chose the most legitimate ones. No, Bukhari eliminated “hadiths” by previous court mythographers, inconsistent with the rulers of his time, as to not allow discrepancies. Unfortunately, you still discover discrepancies to this day in hadiths and quran, so it's just a modest guess what a marsh & pilings were there, that not even Bukhari and after him couldn't (or forgot) to eliminate.
