Hitler's moustache was key to his larger than life figure, but why did it progressively get smaller and smaller until it looked comical like Charlie Chaplain? This was a bold fashion move to say the least, and it worked. How could Hitler have known in advance? Was he a genius in such matters?

Many wouldn't admit it but the mustache and side swept black hair is as iconic as Harry Potter's round glasses and lightning bolt scar or Marilyn Monroe's mole and platinum blonde hair. If you are an aesthetically driven person this is not as hard to achieve as it seems, but you have to have a good eye and only a competent designer can achieve that.Many people here say that it was simply the fashion of the moment, and I don't want to paint Hitler as a genius beyond our understanding, but there is a reason why Hitler is recognized as a very good politician.
