This left serious emotional scars on him, which probably messed with his head later on.On the flip side, his mom, Klara, was the opposite... Super sweet and protective. She was like the only good thing in his life. But then she died from breast cancer in 1907, and that hit him like a freight train. It probably messed him up even more than all the crap his dad put him through.
