There's no way a succesful communist revolution is going to happen again because the succesful communist revolutions happened in a time where the army and the government didn't have the level of militarization and ubiquitous surveillance methods they have today, also in Russia a sizeable part of the army defected to the Communists, that's never going to happen since modern armies are full of chuds and they'd sooner do a right wing military coup than a fucking communist revolution.

Also, despite the fact that communist revolutions were happening in countries that were very socially unstable and ravaged by war they were still pretty brutal affairs and the outcome was really chancy up until the end, imagine the bolsheviks going against a modern army with all the military and surveillance tech they enjoy now, they'd have no chances

One of the biggest issues really is the Modern left is completely and totally isolated from the Working Class.
Bolsheviks were filled with intellectuals, but at least Lenin hung around factories and blue collar people and spoke to them like adults.
