Nationalism is collectivism and collectivism is leftism.
>>
Ok Adolf
>>
>>17429825
but if nationalism is leftisim...
What if a nation is run by oligarchs and plutocrats? If you are a nationalist for such a nation, are you still a leftist? surely not.
>>
>>17429838
All nations are run by oligarchs and plutocrats.
>>
>>17429865
eventually yes but not always. They are until the cycle repeats itself. At first when a political system is born/reborn properly there are those leaders who genuinely care who aren't just in it for money or power.
>>
Left vs. right is equality vs. hierarchy, not individualism vs. collectivism
>>
>>17429880
Then leftism has failed miserably.
>>
>>17429896
It always does, but then it succeeds, and then fails again, and then succeeds. The societal cycle keeps spinning. Like a sandcastle being built and knocked down by waves.
in the next 100-200 years there is going to be a global leftist shakeup because of the pressures of unrestrained capitalism/plutocratic globalisim. It's almost our turn on the geopolitics xbox humanist bros.
>>
>>17429908
Sounds stupid and redundant.
>>

>there are those leaders who genuinely care who aren't just in it for money or power.
An oligarch is just a member of a small governing body. It doesn't automatically mean a person whose after money or power.
>>
>>17429880
Which is why the Left has such failed, shit ideologies. People are not equal and can never be, and hierarchies are necessary for society to function.
>>
>>17429908
Even when leftists "succeed" they fail though, because everything they take over turns to shit
>>
>>17429880
Honestly thinking about it, that boils down to the same thing anyway. You can't have a hierarchy without everyone having their individual place in it, and enforcing any sort of equality requires collective action.
>>
>>17429908
>but then it succeeds
No nigga it don't.
All leftist societies have been stratified class societies just like rightist societies.
>>
>>17429954
Collective action is not really because humans are not a collective.
It's a bunch of people with roughly but not exactly the same idea and goal.
And every collective still has leaders due to the inevitability of some people having superior charisma over others.
>>

>every collective still has leaders due to the inevitability of some people having superior charisma over others.
Which is why leftism fails, either said leaders in the collective are capable of actually taking power (in which case it becomes more about serving them than anything else) or they aren't and the collective collapses as a result.
>>
>>17429825
nigga this is not /pol/, you have to go back
>>
>>17429971
Could have fooled me.

>>17429831
Ok jew

See panel 3-4

Obviously
>>
>>17429825
Almost every dichtomy is retarded.
>>
>>17429838
>but if nationalism is leftisim...
Big if true. Ethnopluralism is basically nationalism prior to the 12th century. They'd have to throw away their local customs to be absorbed into some larger union that included groups they hadn't interacted with in generations.
>>
>>17429825
>leftism is when you believe in groups of people
>>
>>17429825
Based
Cosmopolitan imperialism is the way
