Tell me about the Second Baron's War.
>>
It showed that allowing your vassals to build giant stone fortresses on their lands was a poor decision if you then proceeded to antagonize them with taxes.
>>
It culminated in the creation of the world's first consititutional monarchy

Incredibly boring event like the entire Middle Age of England.
The reason so many Middle Ages wars featuring the English were fought against other English is because basically nobody else cared about them or even knew they existed outside of the occident and Iberia.
90% of English wars in the Middle Ages were this way. The rest were fought against the regional powers of Cornwall and the Orkneys.
Episodes like this are the reason the England created fictional characters like Beowulf, Arthur, Robin Hood, Aragorn etc. and began conflating them with their history.
I mean England was just objectively boring and irrelevant at this time which is the reason this thread has accumulated a mere 3 replies in nearly 24 hours.
We could be talking about the Hanseatic League or Venice right now instead of this crap
