Why did WWI Germany want to make Lithuania so big?
>>
To make Slavs butthurt

Weaker Poland = less Polish pride.

Long Lithuania is best.

It's mostly just Poles. Germans favorized every other group knowing that Poles are the most nationalistic, anti-German and organized.
>>
>>17433967
To dissuade Lithuanian nationalism as incorporating numerous non-lithuanian lands would have led to a very uneasy democraphic composition, which would have allowed the pro-german monarchy and german authorities to better govern and present themselves as neutral arbiters

That coastline hogging is devious

Lmao Poland didn't exist at all
It was all aimed against Russia

Poland wanted to exist. That was the problem. There was Kingdom of Poland and the Germans wanted it to remain small and irrelevant which is why they supported Ukrainians and Lithuanians against Poles.
