...Southern France would have fallen within the Iberian Sphere rather than the French one. Other consequences mean that the Aragonese and Catalans, rather than Castile, would have become the main force in the Iberian peninsula. Like in our present timeline they would have probably conquered Italy, and faster than they did since they are much more powerful. Therefore an union of Latin Europe would have de facto be realized under them. Additionally, assuming the union with Castile still happen they would have become the main demographic force of the continent. How far could they have gone? Would the Spanish conquest of America still happen in this scenario? what about the Habsburgs? Could a genuine country that reunited all of Latin Europe with its capital in Barcelona emerge out of this? Would they have been the main power in europe until at least the industrial revolution (which would have still probably happened in Enland for obvious reasons)? Would the French revolution happens in this scenario, considering that France is still important country but not anywhere as important at it was in our timeline? What other major changes can you think of?

Wasn't aragon the strongest iberian nation before losing naples???

Also the Catalan regions have always been the most developed one, I'm surprised in OTL Castille was the one calling the shots in the union really

No they declined in the 15th century and only became important again in the late 18th and especially after the lose of the american colonies since the remaining ones (cuba etc.) mostly benefited them.

Also Castile was more populated, and while Aragon controlled the med until the 15th century Castile controlled the Atlantic even before Columbus and it turns out the Atlantic would become more important than the Med.
