Assuming Napoleon did sail for the US in 1815, and assuming he makes the voyage unscathed to put in at a port on the East Coast... what was next?
Would the US populace meet him with open arms? Would Jefferson or Madison rush him off to the safety of Montpellier/Monticello, or even DC?
