Considering in all these countries the opposite of it happened, dictatorship and police states was it ever intended for communism to happen? Actually is it really possible for it to happen?

Most of the people who actually participate in socialist revolutions aren't necessarily trying to create a communist society, nor are they trying to install a dictator. They're just being starved and killed and they want to overthrow the people doing this to them.

People have an amazing ability to compartmentalize and rationalize contradictions between what they're doing and what they're thinking.

>was it ever intended for communism to happen?
Yes, definitely. I mean it depends on who you're talking about but the most committed and fanatical were true believers for sure. People fought for it, sacrificed for it, died for it. But that's what made it pretty catastrophic in its own way, because I'm not just shooting you, I'm just an agent of a historical process (which will to the liberation of the world) that is shooting you, and it better happen because otherwise I'm just a murderer who killed you for nothing.

I don't know. Maybe in a really futuristic society. They believed that highly advanced technology and productivity would meet people's needs and free them up to work a lot less. All property will be owned by all people, who will enjoy public welfare from birth, and work in any field they choose according to the characteristics of their own development. As far as dictatorships go, as Karl Marx put it, this is characteristic of societies in which the vast majority of people spend most of their time engaged in manual labor, and a few privileged elements specialize in science, art, production management, etc. and enslaves the class that does not possess production materials through agencies such as the military, police, courts, and prisons. This authoritarian machine is called "the state." Marx and Engels described the state as an irreconcilable product of class conflicts, a machine that ostensibly overrides all members of society, and exercises its power through laws that represent the will of the ruling classes.

As long as society is divided into different classes, there must be a power that maintains the relative stability of society by coercive means, rather than endless class struggle, while also fooling the ruled through hypocritical double standards such as religion and "morality," and that actions that damage the ruling classes' own interest as "evil." So, as human beings liberate themselves, the state (management of people) is gradually replaced by the management of things, with freedom being the transformation of the state as an institution above society to an institution that obeys society.

So far no, maybe it will be possible when our economics and engineering get far more advanced but with our current knowledge and technology is simply impossible and no philosophical debate, propaganda machine or civil war will change that, we need extremely cheap energy, food that is faster and easier to produce, space colonies and better AI plus more economists and engineers working on developing the theory into something that truly works.
