They were more accepting of it. This scandalized a lot of the people they conquered actually. Later ascriptions of their Yassa mention it is illegality but there is no evidence of this really. Many of the people they conquered only tolerated it for elites. There is evidence that they held it to be allowed but secondary to heterosexual marriage and family obligations. There is even evidence of them frowning upon female homosexuality but aestheticizing much older men, with middle aged men.
