It's literally just to see survive as long as possible and procreate. Every living thing seeks two things, to remain alive, and to reproduce. Plants, fungi, bacteria, viruses, if you can consider them to be alive, it's a bit of a complicated topic, mammals, reptiles, fish, insects, birds, humans, it's all the same. Stay alive at least until you reproduce, that's it. Why have philosophers been so concerned with such an easily answered question?

Obviously we have animalistic desires and you can chase those and be a hedonist/survivalists but what about the other %99 of our lives when we aren’t making kids and our survival is taken care of, what do we do with that time? It’s not hard to stay alive anymore, people with various medical co dictions are taken care of, making a big hole in our daily lives where we aren’t occupied with survival or procreation, how is that %99 vest spent?
