>10,000 years ago North Africa was as lush and fertile as South America is today>Monuments like the pyramids and sphinx are practically impossible to date, being made of stone>"Ummmm no they definitely made these things in the last few thousand years, it's not possible that advanced civilisation existed 10,000+ years ago and was washed away by global flooding and later buried under mountains of sand no they definitely did nothing but live in caves for 500,000 years and only started building shit during this last 1% of human history"Uh huh...
>>17439754Why would you presume that global flooding wiped this civilization out and not just broad desertification? Isn't it a lot easier to suppose that something similar to what happened to the Ancestral Pueblo occurred with drier conditions resulting in gradual social collapse as opposed to a global flood? Why even assume a global flood here?
>>17439759>Why would you presume that global flooding wiped this civilization outBecause there's mounting evidence for global floods about 12,500 years ago, and the Sahara began turning into a desert 10,000 years ago. I'm not saying it was a one two punch that happened overnight, but these two major events would certainly have wiped out any civilisation there at the time and wiped them out so hard and so thoroughly that nothing but things like the pyramids would survive. The sphinx had to be dug out of the sand after all, who knows what else is buried under all those layers.
Too bad most cuntspiracy theorists are probably too worldly hold themselves to any meaningful spiritual devotion like the enlightened civilizations they claim to believe in supposedly would.
