Let's even say that Ireland takes northern Ireland from the Brits just cause. That still leaves Japan, the US, and the British as fully fledged fighting forces while the capitalists in Italy, France, and China would still be currently fighting all while the communists in Germany and Spain had only just recently consolidated their rule over broken countries ravaged by civil war. This is an incredibly unrealistic scenario in favor of communism and even then total victory for the Soviets is far from guaranteed.
