trad thread, again. any medium, as long as its physical art, post it. I was disappointed but pleasantly surprised that the thread got knocked off in under 2weeks. I'll try to draw more to keep it alive. pic is a pen doodle.
work doodle from tonight
Some sketches from a awhile ago
>>793304These are cute!
>>793298start using a rollerball before you destroy your wrists
>>793375I just use whatever pens are laying around at work on any given night. which are not consistent and constantly changing, somehow.

Making this thread before traveling was probably bad timing for me. Here's a rough sketch I did on the plane, to bump the thread.
Acrylic markers, modified sketchbook cover.
>>793292Your art is clean as fuck.
Doodle was on my coworkers paperwork. Text is an inside joke.>>794876Thanks man, I suffer from overpolishing but sometimes it pays off

something i copied a couple of months ago. I am interested in drawing but i dont have that spark that makes me doodle in my free time, i have to actively make time and sit down.I think the look in her eyes shows that nicely.
>>795672I think the best way to motivate yourself to doodle in your free time is to just have something you're really autistic about and keep doodling it. I usually find it more fun that way at least. Good work regardless anon, I hope you keep it up!!
work doodle
>>795759i love your style very much
>>795743Mine was doodling robots from the Portal games or G1 transformers when i was a kid. As long as its something special to you you'll be surprised what you can make, maybe not always the quality but the amount of things you'll draw!
>>795769thanks anon!!
>>795743Well there is still nothing i want to doodle or feel comfortable doodling in public since i need absolute silence but there is this manga i like copying from, The Girl From the Other Side. I also now understand why people make such a fuss about hands. And for some reason i like my multi colored ballpoint pen a lot. Pencils and fine liners don't do it for me for some reason.>>795759Did you use text markers? Those colors are mesmerizing.
>>795826That's fair too! For the longest time I hated doodling at work because I knew if someone saw they'd ask me about it, but my current job enables it too much. Maybe even just try to do it in your private freetime to get yourself more used to it — I.e. try mindlessly doodling while you watch something or while playing a game that doesn't need constant focus. Trying different materials is also always great!! Especially to get a feel for what you prefer. I find it can be a huge nudge for motivating yourself! The markers in the drawing are just pink, green and blue highlighters! I did shade some of the pink with a skin-tone sharpie to try to get some slightly different pinks, but it was dying and hard to get much from. Highlighters are the only colours I really have access to at work, unless I bring my own stuff in.

Nice doodle!
bumping thread. I broke my phone and am a mobile poster so I haven't been able to throw my work night doodles up here as readily :(edit: I had to wait 900 seconds to post this. It said I could speed it up by verifying my email, whatever the hell that means
