The mechanical skill is just a small part of drawing, and its the EASY part. If your biggest problem is that the anatomy is off, that's an easy fix. Just work on anatomy in similar poses, or try easier poses. Drawing something interesting that makes people feel something when they see it is much harder to solve if you can't do it. But a consistent way I've learned to inject appeal into your art is to loosen up and stop trying to draw so carefully.
