You get better by doing, if you have to wait till you "get gud" you won't ever do anything.But animation is different, you need the design to look just "good enough" to work. You can't avoid cutting corners. You can not "polish" an animated batch of assets. If the design, or the rendering, the amount of colors, or whatever, are too complex, it will fuck up the whole animation.It's like designing a toy with moveable limbs, it will look horrible at the limbs, but you can't avoid compromising key details to get to a doable final result.Btw, another preview at picrel, the project seems to be going good. I think I will make it work as I want to. Not counting my chocobos yet, though... If flash crashes, maybe I'll have to split it in two different animations. We will see.
