>>7138484Absolutely stunning details... please post the comic!
>>7138578Thank you
>>7138438Started drawing in 2016-2017 but stopped drawing 2020. So really only 4 years here and there. Only recently started taking it seriously last year.
8 years I think
Out of my house for a fiew days.I have a notebook, apencil , shit lighting, and a phonecamera. Made this for an anon a recently (v drawtread)Been drawing since end of middleschool so over a decade
6-ish yearsI only actually started improving in the last 3 years, had exactly one year as a NEET where I drew shitloads.I've since gotten a job, and while progress has slowed a lot I've tried to not let it stop completely. It really sucks how by the time you start getting better your IRL responsibilities increase by a lot
My first attempt at painting.
Five years and still a permaprebeg.
>>7138821Yeah I guess holding a magnifying lens in the other hand is pretty uncomfortable
>>7138901Kek
Just started after 5 year break, how we doing?
>>7138952Well it turned out pretty right
>>7138901I’ll magnify your dick faggot!
>>7139065You need to ask permission to the queen ant to borrow a whole squad for that, Flick
Nineteen years, technically.
Since elementary school so like 15 years but I never study properly so my progress has stalled for years.
>>7138438Around 9 years
>>7139081Yeah well I’m still workong on it ao fuck you, you stuoid cunt!
>>7139766Oii, ur shit be bussin
>>7139773>reposts again with ungodly resolution >gets mad at innocent jokes>can't even fucking typeIt's a shame you're definitely retarded because the drawing seems pretty goodNo need to reply, I won't be coming back to this thread
>>7138438Posted my shit https://files.catbox.moe/kplolr.jpgBeen drawing since I was a fetus
>>7140347A Masterpiece.Teach me oh great one
Been drawing since I was two-three years old.
>>7140534About 5 month>>7139776s
>>7138758Oh God of perspective... may your blessings be towards me
i dont get why you want me to post my shit but ok
>>7140607I practiced like this.Girl + car + shrimple background. Like a desert (sandy not sweet) and a building in a rectangular pattern, hexagonal pattern , any pattern ecc.. car can be anything, ww beatle, a mustang, pontiac trans am, lambo cunt-touch. Practice, practice , practice ,car girl ,car girl, car girl, ???girl car???.. try free Hand it, try construct it, try to find a reference to construct or freehand my self, a box somewhere anything, repherence photos too.For that pic. I made a rough skech of what i think it should look like. Construction method.Took a selfie of my fat ass in a similar pose.Used it to construct the pic.A detailed anatomy knowledge and cranial unit proportions helped.Good luck fellow art bro
>>7140722You speak the words of another world(So practice off of 80's bikini and car magazines?)
my whole life but i don't do it very often so functionally maybe like 2 or 3 years cumulatively
>>7138438On and off for 8 or so years
>>7141181Not really but it could work. You need to draw cilindres , boxes and curved boxy like objects in perspective and all has to be proportional to the lady standing on or next to it.There are free 3d models you can rotate when stuck. But that is the last resort, you want your brain to develope that ability , not rely on outside programs. A 3d rotatable repherence will push through a hard roadblock. As far as references. Get as far as you can and take a short glance to check/unfuck yourself
>>7138438i wish /ic/ had /i/'s drawing replay feature. we could actually see and critique peoples drawing process. seems counterintuitive for them to have it and not us
>>7141575CSP lets you make replays if that's something you're interested in
like 2 years
2 years
>>7139766cool>>7138952draw more, try to draw confident lines>>7140586use refs, draw a lot from refs10 years and counting, great hobby!
Too long. Wish I could speak and work with better artists, assist with their work.
Casually drawing forever. Really trying to improve since October 2022.
>>7138462Not half bad.Do you draw from the shoulder? If not and you can set it up, you should.Could help improve accuracy a bit
>>7143310I do on larger pieces but sadly i’m a farm hand/oil field worker and have broken like 9 of my fingers so the mangled meaty messes shake horribly. Funny enough drawing every day seems to be helping that.
Whole life I've scribbled and drawn, but I have never really taken it serious up until three years ago.>>7142495Drawings like these just scratches my brain in a good way. Nice.
Second week of trying, here's a bunch of things i drew so far. It's a bit embarrassing to post it as I realize it most likely gives off strong elementary schooler doodle vibes (thank you anonymity), but i'm still really surprised how well it's going, I expected to be 100% unable to do anything that feels even remotely in-the-right-direction through the first month. It's also way more fun than I expected. The process is just extremely pleasant, I constantly fix things, then I see big picture being improved, then I'm happy. Seems like it's gonna be a great hobby, hopefully I'll be able to stay into it.
>>7138438Forever, but I only took it up as a hobby about 10 years ago when I was a boy. I only really started taking it seriously about 3 years ago though, most of my old drawings are.... not desirable. Interests are about the same, honestly. Side note, which of these do you guys think is the coolest? How about the eeriest?
>>7144101You could do a lot worse for only trying for two weeks.
>>7138438On-and-off for my whole life. I’m now 28 years old. But now I just recently had an existential crisis after reading Tatsuki Jujimoto’s “Look Back” and wonder why I’m not a better artist making brilliant comics and why I’m not happy in life. All this stupid hobby has afforded me is misery and frustration all throughout my life for failing to improve and grow. This latest instance is just the most recent.I’m just a failure. In everything that I do. I guess accepting that is the first step to coping for the rest of my life. Maybe that’s where happiness lies.
I didn't start drawing seriously till like late November of last yearI always wanted to learn but I had a bitch made mindset doing things like grinding boxes in perspective thinking I'll magically get better
>>7144162Are you that dude that did the superhero comics a while back? There was this one villain that talked like hank hill and another spider one that raped a dude on live tv
>>7144152Thanks, happy to hear it's not just my perception.
>>7144149>coolest11>eeriestalso 11, possibly 6 or 7, but I feel like the key ingredient that's missing for eerie vibes is that they all have something that could easily be described as a face. Here's eye, here's other eye, mouth is down there. I feel like ultimately, proper creepy vibes could come from a 'face' that can barely be recognized as such at a glance, something abstract enough to not be immediately recognized as a part of a sentient being. Creepy Silent Hill 2 nurses had misfigured blobs instead of a face, creepy HAL9000 had a camera/status LED that always looked straight at you in camera shots, both of those are great examples of what I mean. Then again, that's just a loose idea, seems to me like you're quite a bit creative, so you probably have a better idea on how do you want it.
>>7144180That sounds really funny, but it wasn’t me.
>>7144149Funny, 7 and 11 were the most basic to me and were are closest to the original design besides 1. (10 is my favorite atm) I'm going more for an "intelligent killer in a suit of armor" look, so he needs to be just human enough for you to know he has intent and isn't a robot, but inhuman enough to be difficult to connect to, to be mysterious and therefore intimidating. So as I see it, his face being revealed would remove the mystique. He does have one though, I'm just thinking it shouldn't be revealed very early. I get what you mean though, I've drawn monsters that work off that.>seems to me like you're quite a bit creativeWell thank you very much, friend. I appreciate your input.
>>7144234Oh, wait damn I fucked that up, sorry. >>7144234is for >>7144213
