Do you want to become a professional artist?

Draw 8 hours a day.

That's literally you have to do. People who can do that, will become professional artists. People who can't, won't make it. It doesn't matter how "optimal" your study routine is. If you don't draw enough, you won't make it. And if you do draw 8 hours a day, it doesn't matter how shit your studies are, you will improve rapidly. Install a timer app asap, and set it to 8 hours. Reset that timer every single morning. Pause the timer when you are not holding stylus to canvas. Run that timer down to 0:00:00, every single day, as far as possible.

This is the dividing line between failures, and those whose dreams come true.

I am not jobless or young so I cant spend 8 hours , feng, its not that serious bro.
>>

Yes, and if you do it for years on end, you too can be just as good as those deviantautists who have drawn for 18 years and still churn out garbage.
You need to consciously study AND put in the time. Stop watering everything down to a binary "this or that," you need EVERYTHING.

I just don't have the drive anymore Feng, I can't keep my head down and draw. I'm not tired and my work ain't shitty. Drawing is simply not fun anymore like it used to, it was different when this skill was "special". We have AI now and I really hate it.
>>
That's the chinkcore method where you won't develop taste, aesthetics, emotions, feelings, ideas, style, motifs, visual language.
When I look at the work of Feng Zhu Speaks it doesn't say anything, it's just slop.

>spend 8 hours a day on the thing that makes you money
It almost like you've made it become a job or something
>>

only 8 hours??? those are rookie numbers, you're never going to make it. try 18 hours a day or get left behind.

I didn't believe in the concept of permabegs till I saw those guys, they have an account since 2003 on DA and they drew every single year yet their art is terrible. Theory really is important.

Jim Lee drew up to 10 hours every single day.

At best I only have 4 to 5 hours after work to draw. Simply not enough time to make it.

Im gonna assume it was both "practicing drawing while studying references" and drawing from imagination.

Jim Lee studied Bridgman sensei a lot, as stated in several interviews

What happened to this guy? I heard he was cool in the 90's. He created Jar Jar Binks and Darth Maul.
>>
>>7145087
He also created General Grevious, the coolest star wars character
>>
He created none of that, he did this.
