I want a brush that looks like this, with well-defined, thick vertices or ends but with a thin line in between. How can I achieve this effect in Clip Studio Paint? How should I modify the pressure setting? I've already tried drawing a U (pic-related) but that's not very effective. Does anyone know which brush gives this effect or how I can create it myself?

I like using brushes with irregular lines that unpredictably change thickness a bit. It gives an analog effect and feels more like a G-pen or a real pencil. It's much better when you don't want ultra-thin and perfect lineart. The way I achieve this effect in Clip Studio Paint is by setting the 'brush size' to random (in addition to pressure). But how can I achieve this effect in SAI? There's no option to set the size to random. Is there any brush that is useful for making lines more irregular and imperfect?

>>7214305I have seen similar speedpaints, it's a textured brush with variable opacity + a light airbrush to blend (around the eyes, knee) and they use lasso tool for forms and usually have multiple layers for shadows/light for that ambient occlusion effect, imo the brushes don't matter because it's definitely not an easy style to pull off because the early stages of speedpaints almost look like black and white 3d renderings.tl;dr you need to be really good at lighting/ambient occlusion for this style
