painted this today, thought about a friend i haven't had contact with for 4-5 years nowhe was an amazing artist that showed me this board and how to practice thoroughly. although he was around my age the skill gap was so vast that it was humbling, i was so lucky to be such good friends with them. but due to me being a moody teenager things fell apart and we lost contact. last time i heard from him was on Christmas eve some years ago where he came out to me as FTM. afterwards i couldn't find him againwe drew a lot together, even made a comic together! until he accidentally kept the line art and sketch on the same layer hehe. I learned so much from him. he even pointed out how i had a monkey grip while drawing, without that i don't know if i'd ever find out.maybe he still lurks/posts on here, i can only hope. I'd love to show him my progress as an artist, hope he's proud. I'm sure he's a professional artist by now :D i wouldn't expect less from himsorry for the blogpost! TLDR: dont be retarded and keep your art friends close, especially those who push you to be better! have a flower study, id love some critique on it if any would like to give some!!
