How many frames should pixel art sprites use for walk cycle animations?
>>7219817In my experience, 3 is the minimum if very simple.1. Leg lifting off the ground.2. Leg halfway up.3. Leg landing on ground. You can add additional frames in-between, maybe even smear frames but the basic 3 is all I needed. But I believe this topic now fall under the topic of animation. More advanced than drawing.
oh it's gonna be one of these threads. let's see if we can break the record of the last one.
>>7219817>>7219818>>7219819This is fucking lengendary.
>>7219817Shit man, I thought we lost you yesterday. Sorry for not bumping your thread in time.Glad to have you back.
>>7219817I used to dislike these schizo threads but now I realise that they are more interesting than half the things posted here.
Mario did fine with 3 frames and after like 60 years he's around, so don't be one of those fags and narcissistic retards that think they'll do better, than what's tried and proven right If you want to be extra fucking fancy, and actually put in the work for it and are the michelangelo of sprites, Metal Slug does 4
