Any pointers on how to shade dark objects, like the hair or bikini? A multiply layer looks too muddy. I assume I have to work more with the highlights

this current page im working on has me worried one of my original characters might look to much like a loli character, she is a 21 year old mushroom gnome girl. She doesn't look to much like a loli does she? She is just tiny is all. I used to even use his own brush but I got self-conscious about it because of how many copycats he has so I branched out and tried doing my own stuff (all the brushes I use I made myself now).
