I think line weight is a meme. This artwork for example looks great and there is barely any variation in line weight. Pretty much it's only a thing at the extremes of some lines.

This thread goes to show that Fate made it, I have not been drawing any Senran Kagura or Taimanin Asagi lately due to people's hatred for my drawings. I will seize this opportunity to turn this thread into my personal SK/TA Studying and doodle ground, i've gotten bored of Bitch ass Cris and his antics and it it time to focus on serious matters such as Senran Kagura before me. Expect newer Senran drawings for this thread and possible future ones.

anyone have good resources to learn line weight? I've been pretty satisfied with my sketches but the moment I line it is when I start disliking my drawing
>>7334875Little line weight works for this drawing due to the lack detail in the image. There aren't actually that many lines in it. If it had a large number of uniform lines they would look visually noisy and chaotic. There is variation in line weight if you look for it but it subtle.

how the fuck are people controlling their line weight on digital? Its completely random for me. If I do a downward stroke its a certain thickness, and if I do an upwards stroke its more thick since the pen is naturally pressing on the tilted screen more.
