yeah stuff like that is a lot less useful than you think

to stop drawing
>>
>>7346778
Too not listen to dogshit anime pinup artist on twitter making terrible tutorials.
>>
>>7346778
A long time ago I was advised to polish my sketch to linart level and as a result I can draw fairly neat lines the first time. Recently I was advised to draw everything on a single layer and the drawings look even more organic.
>>
>>7346778
I like both
>>
>>7346778
the first one is more punipuni, therefore it's better
>>
>stylization is bad
>>
>>7346809
if this artist had followed that advice this pic would look early pro. Instead if looks barely int, fresh out of beg
>>
>>7346878
the legs aren't the problem here
>>
>>7346878
>retarded /beg/ doesn't understand stylization
Stop coping dumb /beg/
>>
>>7346884
The main issue is the legs
>>7346885
>stylization
it's good stylization other than the legs. It doesn't matter how long or thin you make the legs, they have to follow anatomy. You could omit the knee entirely and you would still need to make the legs bend at the right point where the knee should be. Screaming "stylization" means nothing until you actually know what stylization is and the rules to follow. You don't know shit

and the neck

I sketch the entire design one layer.
When I clean i break it into multiple layers then merge them into one clean layer before moving onto shadow. Then color.
>>
>>7346901
Look at that left hand anon
>>
>>7346799
dam this is super useful. Always struggle with lenght thanks anon.
>>
>>7346799
lmao this shit is in Hogarths book made literal decades ago
now its all dissected and torn open into small disparate chunks for ADD zoomers that'll just hoard it
>>

>lmao this shit is in Hogarths book made literal decades ago
Nobody wants to read that ancient shit with undecipherable scribbles.

how are people that post here so unbelievably fucking dumb?

they really don't
>>
>>7346979
anon said they do, so they do. idiot. what the fuck are you even saying, that art doesn't have to go by the books? it's allowed to break the rules?
>>
>>7346778
"Give up."
I should've listened.
>>

you dumb retard you don't read Hogarth, You're supposed to just look at his fucking drawings and study them. The high contrast hyperbulbous style he uses in his drawing books is perfect for "getting" anatomy just by looking at the damn pictures
>>
>>7346778
Retarded as shit. This is nothing but a preference not an advice.
>>
>>7346778
Am I the only one who prefers the left to the right?

Yes.

nah people just need to stop drawing such a spiked chin
>>

at incoherent /beg/ scribbles? No thanks.
>The high contrast hyperbulbous style
I'd rather learn from an objective book like anatomy from sculptors than lumpy "anatomy" that doesn't even look like the real thing. Hogarth drones are so fucking retarded.
>>
>>7347052
No. I think the left looks cuter. It's really a matter of taste.
>>
>>7346778
>>7347052
>>7347094
Best is cheek of the left with the chin of the right.

Any tips on drawing anime girl skulls? I tried but they look like Koikatsu for some reason...
>>
>>7347154
Post your attempt you stupid /beg/ idiot. Nobody can give you any tips if you don't.
>>
>>7347157
beg me for it
>>
>>7347171
You're the /beg/ which is why you begged for advice here >>7347154
If you don't want advice, that's your loss. But really, don't be afraid to post your art, your style will hopefully improve and no one will recognise some little sketch of a skull that you once posted anonymously on the chan when you finally make it in 10 years and make millions of moneys from your successful art career hits.
>>
>>7347171
I was going to help you, but feel free to stay shit if that's what you want.
>>
>>7347101
What is the difference on the chin? Is it just the thickness? Anyways i think think that the left one is the most kissable.

It's useful to me. Why does that change just because some guy drew a funky proportioned girl?
>>
>>7347052
Left is more childlike or at least, more fat. But it's good shape language as my eyes prefer curves over straight lines.
Right looks malnourished .

You don't need someone to tell you how long to draw legs
>>
>>7347873
You do if you're a beginner and drawing the legs too long will just look like a mistake rather than an intentional stylistic choice
>>
>>7346979
Why bother with a referance than? Is this how to draw a certain artists style? That is not learning anatomy.
>>
>>7346799
I believe that this is more true for males. The femurs on females are a bit longer than the bottom half of the leg.
>>
>>7347412
they feminized him, made him look soft...
>>
>>7347412
moeai
>>
>>7346778
Thats just personal preference. What a retarded image.
>>
>>7347873
the legs are long, but because they bend at the right anatomical proportion, the figure still looks good. If you start messing with anatomy you start hitting the uncanny valley. It can be done on purpose, but it generally tends not to look good if you're trying to draw an appealing figure
>>
>>7346799
Is there a sort of "rule" for the proportion between hands, legs, head and torso? I've started recently but I see myself drawing very long arms sometimes
