>>7364759If the pose works for you then yeah go for it.
>>7364759you should be drawing from life. and Renaissance paintings.
>>7364759why
>>7364823If you had an anime figure in front of you and drew it, wouldn't that be drawing from life?
>>7364841yes. do it.
>>7364823you should kill yourself just like they do in those renaissance paintings

>>7364759Americans will cry to Saint George Floyd if you don't use American and Western paintings as study reference and go straight to Japanese anime figures.
>>7364759I gave it a try. I think it works alright but I would also include drawing real human figures to build a good foundation.
>>7364759who cares
>>7365795Actually pretty good! Do you do commissions?
>>7365942ThanksI am available for commissions, feel free to contact me. playerz3d on discord. or https://www.deviantart.com/playerzed

Would acrylic stands be good to draw from? Or are they too flat?https://files.catbox.moe/ieusvo.jpg
>>7368971LMAO
>>7368982Your basically drawing a flat image, it wouldnt be any better then just drawing it from a screen. It might actually be worse cause your more likely to get warping unless your drawing it head on.
>>7364759Its good cause its a 3D representation, drawing from flat images is very limiting cause your trying to get depth from a flat image which requires a lot of mental gymnastics and practice, but getting a 3D representation breaks away from those constraints. Its easier for the mind to get a grasp on. The figure of course would have to be good, but otherwise why not use it?
>>7364759It is a terrible idea.
This is a good idea, anon John K encourages artists to draw toys to practice drawing band animating betterhttps://johnkstuff.blogspot.com/2007/09/top-cat-turnaround-toy-construction_19.html?m=1
