Does not even have to be good, I've done a few pages of these literally just copying hands and even trying to draw some without looking at the reference.Let's say... for every one drawn with reference, you must also draw it without reference. You must then make a drawing utilizing what you've learned. Don't think too hard about it, just do what feels right and change what doesn't. I'm just curious what the outcomes will be putting quantity over quality. Pic related.
>>7371074Cool thread idea. I will participate. Also I just realized I misread the instructions. I thought it was 1 by references and then 1 by imagination, didn't realize it was from memory. I may keep going like I am now though. This thread (assuming it lives) will be a cool way to see where I am from the start to the end. Heads, faces, hair, hats, etc. Everything above the shoulders is my weakness. In particular, I would say the eyes tend to be the worst for me, usually where I fuck things up super hard.
>>7371074>Draw 100 of something you suck1/100
>>7371074Every time I draw I do this challenge
>>7371074your hands wont get better until you learn construction, drawing 100 of them will likely not help as much as going through a book like FWAP - as well as some basic anatomy knowledge of the hand. You would be better off drawing the bones of the hands trying to simplify the forms of the carpals and digits into boxes and cylinders.
>>7371796More headshots. Still doing the 1 with ref 1 from imagination, but sometimes I'll throw in a rotation. I'll do these 6 a day for the next 20 days. I do practice heads and faces outside of this too.Lots of problems I'm noticing now that I'm really focusing on them. Gotta practice the nose a whole lot and then still with the eyes, although I think it's just all eyes in general I mess up heavily, not just from a side view. Any tips or advice or critiques would be welcome, there's definitely some stuff that I don't comprehend how wrong it really is.
Two things I really noticed today: one - the nose is actually I think is actually my biggest problem and not really properly thinking about its form is messing things up and two - I'm placing the mouths too far forward on the face, almost like a snout. Hair still clueless, gonna watch a video about how to draw hair.
>>7371796>>7372962>>7374258Great work, keep at it.
>>7371074I fucking SUCK at drawing cylinders so I will be posting 100 cylinders.Great thread OP. We need more of this.

>>7374258Feel like really focusing on the nose made some of these a lot more achievable. >>7374618Thanks, anon. I'll keep it up til I hit 20 days. >>7374705>>7374774>only 1 word in frenchowari daJk, really nice cylinders, anon. The perspective work will definitely help you a lot. I'm honestly pretty bad at perspective, but grinding it out like this helps a lot.
