>opinions on taking a week off?usually when i take a week off drawing i come back better than when i stopped. im not sure if its more of an improvement than if i just kept drawing though. torn between taking occasional breaks and constant practice. i dont really like to take any time off just because i feel like if im not practicing im not getting anywhere
>>7371826Sure, why not?Pyw
>>7371826If I stop drawing for even a day, I forget how to start drawing again. Like I have been released from prison and I'm being told to go back.

Kinda retarded thread, but I'll reply in earnest:If you want to take breaks because studying is painful, then it's understandable. Take some time to relax and draw things you enjoy, then go back to grinding. If you want to take breaks frequently because you don't wanna draw at all, then it's a bad sign, means the process isn't enjoyable to you.You should either find ways to fix it or accept art as a hobby, because you won't get to pro level by slacking often.
>>7372137Very true. Its fine for burnout but for lazy bums like me, if I stop for a week it will be months before I draw again
