>>7373092Its just a basic circle brush, you learn to paint with it to avoid depending on textured brushes as a crutch. Its technically all you need to make digital art, and some people get very good with it.It's a good exercise, theres nothing wrong with using other brushes though.

But if you have to hand render that texture yourself with the hard round, it can be a fun exercise where you learn something new. That's what's impressive about hard round chads, or any artist who limits themselves like that and still makes something great.
