If you ever get the chance to try and join on a different device or even just at some other point in the hopes the connection will be more stable, please don't hesitate to do so. Also-I don't know the details but it feels like it could be a firewall issue (just a guess)? Might be worth looking into if you have the know-how (unfortunately, I don't)
