Will it still be possible to make money from art 5 or 10 years from now?
The shift in fundamental physical constants will make it impossible.
>>>/biz/
>>7373454No . AI will take all of the fun jobs. And humans will be cleaning toilets
>>7373454no dude theyre gonna vaporize every artist
>>7373466it's true
>>7373466Peace at last.
>Will it still be possible to make money 5 or 10 years from now?Fixed for you.
>>7373454Yes. The trad artists who are smart with youtube/instagram etc will be doing just as well if not better.Selling courses teaching art will always work too. Those two are guaranteed, idk what will happen with digital artists though. The sakimichan style business model (anime whore by rendermonkey #4758593) seems to be more and more fucked.
>>7373483I'm focusing on digital art, so that's why I'm worried
>>7373485If you're a nice and likable person and not an asshole, and if you're a good artist who is competent with social media, I think that regardless of how advanced AI gets you will still be able to make money. There are people who stream while doing digital art and get lots of attention. The human element that people look for when it comes to artists cannot be replicated by AI. It's kind of like how forklifts cannot make weightlifters obsolete.
>>7373455Which constants are changing? I could make money off it
>>7373494Nah man, I don't want to do live streams. I want to do comissions, make manga etc...
>>7373788Live streaming (interacting with people in general) is a way to get people to know and like you, and want to buy a comission from you, for example. But do what you want.
Yes. Authors aren't going anywhere.
>>7373485Do mixed media and search for your very specific niche, have a project and not just do FOTM anime bitch #214 render.
