Do any anons paint like this nowadays? I constantly see cartoonish stuff, pixel art, anime, but where is the realism?

Look around you,and you can find where realistically rendered imagery has roots.Book covers,especially stuff targeted for "normies",being what they respond to. Horny housewives will buy anything with a Chad without a shirt on,Google Fabio.All sorts of genres demand their professional painters,and their enthusiasts.
