Holy shit I just moved from Krita on my barely-functional HP 255 G7 laptop from 2015 to Procreate and its smooth as butter. I think the reason my lineart in Krita was so dogshit and shaky/wobbly is because my laptop is incredibly weak and laggy, causing Krita to render stuff at like under 20 FPS. With Procreate, it is SMOOTH. Like, its probably over 60 FPS its amazing

Forgot to clarify that Im using procreate on an iPad Air. Its much more modern and stabile than my constantly-crashing laptop.
>>7406190and to think, procreate is free, just like krita!a deal, a steal!!
>>7406314shit's free too, why aren't you chowing down
>>7406190Great glad you're up to speed. And for the record it's Photoshop>CSP>Procreate>Krita>GIMP

A laptop from 2015 should be able to run krita smoothly as long as you're not using a core2duo or first to 2nd gen i-series.
>>7406616That model has an AMD A4-4300M apparently, barely any better than a Core 2 Duo

OP here. So apparently Photoshop is the best oneGonna get it and see for myself if its smooth on my zombie HP laptop
>>7406190Yeah well using procreate requires you to be a retarded homosexual and buy apple products. Naming their program procreate is rather ironic in this sense, as homosexuals typically do not breed. I've been using GIMP more than any other other program lately, but for a rather niche purpose. Otherwise it is kinda shit. However it is interesting that a free open source program made by some Mormon guy manages to have both HSV and RGB sliders up on screen at the same time in a tidy little box. I wonder why the overpaid tards over at Adobe are incapable of achieving this.
