Its a conscious choice on his part to shit out these drawings as fast as possible. Mind you that as an artist you can have your cake and eat it too in terms of quality of drawing/shitting something out as fast as possible. But it does require learning a different subset of skills in design and cartooning. Like most manga that you see from your basic Narutos or DBZ's, those artists werent carefully crafting each drawings of their characters each panel, they were trying to shit those drawings out as fast as humanly possible. But Kienan just doesnt have that skillset, he trained in another one which is fine, but to then abandon it and try to teach drawing in this new way which he is barely figuring out himself is just him shooting himself in the foot. Getting a shot in this industry is a pipe dream anyway, why not teach in the old ways? Its more marketable at least(plus these "teach yourself" classes are bullshit anyway)
