A lot of free time and very little creativityIt's still in progress but I have a feeling it's going to be shit
Sometimes I feel like the pictures drawing itself, but most of the time its a struggle. It is what is. Some personal tips for times like this:1. Practice doodling without expectation and SAVE THEM for later. When you look back on them, you might feel the spark that you didn't when you drew them.2. I'd encourage you to have other hobbies that allow you to build up a visual library (so pretty much most hobbies/interests) or broaden imagination, lean into them instead for a bit. 3. Just wile away an hour or 2 looking at poses, sometimes get's my brain firing again when it's otherwise blank.4. On the other hand, do studies. Studies don't have to look good, they have to teach you something new, so they're perfect for when you feel a block setting in.5. Exercise. Sleep. Diet. For me, eating heavy carby food fucks up my thinking, excess sugar sends me schizo - so I limit those a day before the day im gonna draw. Experiment with health because your body can only function best when you look after it.5a. For sleep (and exercise), use it as the basis for a schedule. Like it or not, the brain loves routine. Get one going and it can help get you more consistent results.
Haven't drawn trad in a very long while. Some doo doo
>>7433352I really like how you drew it, it's just beautiful in my opinion. Well today I wanted to draw a robogirl and I searched for weird poses, I found this one and I said "ok, let's get to work". But since creativity and talent for drawing is not something I have in abundance, I basically made a fanart of Uterus from Fear & Hunger
>>7433340Thanks for the advice, KingThis is going to be noted down, rest assured
>>7433364Your proportions are good. Give yourself a bit more credit, its a good mannequin.
>>7433364Since I was willing to do anything today except study anatomy, I thought I would do a drawing with dynamic poses, and with a robot the last thing that comes to my head are humanly possible poses.
>>7433381Well, I guess a few months of practice will do me good to make better drawings.
>>7433340Never considered physical health and diet's potential impact on drawing ability. I shall endeavor to experiment, thanks anon!
