Anyone have any news on the animation industry? Is 60% of the workforce still unemployed?
>>7435889>Is 60% of the workforce still unemployed?I know a few animators from Murica and they're in different industries like video games and non entertainment, most of them don't wanna go back to animation, they gave up and I don't blame em.
>>7435931what other industries? And I thought video games were even deader than animation
>>7435889yeah I have a friend in Japan
AI animation is here and if a company needs better quality, they can just outsource a cheap pinoy for $2/hour instead of paying (You). It's been over for a while, but it's about to be more obvious.
>>7435889The animation industry has been dying for like over a decade now so, just as usual, maybe slightly worse. Studio execs hate animation in the west, always have, it was only ever a means to promote toys.
>>7435942Other industries like medical animation, business, marketing, boring shit like that.I do know a guy that make animation for a big 3D nsfw animator and indie V-tubers so There's that path too.He makes 6 figures from animating porn so not bad at all.
