But here is when the author drops the ball HARD, the first half of the story paints this really dark reality of a sexual abused victim, but in the second half it's suddenly revealed the boyfriend has a sad past ((world tiniest violin playing in the background)) so all his abuse is suddenly forgiven and mc develops Stockholm syndrome (this itself is not bad, since it can legitimately happen) but what really made me SEETHE with RAGE, was how the author were now romanticizing it, pushing them as this romantic ideal, they are now Romeo and Juliet, it's them against the world, fuck all the people's life they or specifically the boyfriend has destroy, in the end they got everything, while everyone else in the story suffers immensely and the authors is trying to gaslight me, to think this is the ultimate form of what true romance is.FUCK OFF.
