Okay, I think that's the best I'm getting.

When I draw I start with the head. The head starts with a circle. I draw that circle about 40 times before I settle with an ellipse that doesn't quite connect. It's just a mannequin that gets worked into a proepr shape anyway.
I draw those "circles" so fast and hit undo so fast that this arduous process doesn't even take much time.
Still refuse to use the circle tool.
