Goodbye /ic/.I just bought myself one of these bad boys, a 5000 paper stack for me to learn how to draw. I have downloaded every single course that I will ever need for a few years and in a few moments I will disconnect myself from the internet and cut the cable. I also got a drawing tablet for when I need to start using it. But for now, the paper will do. I have downloaded every single resource over at /asg/ and I will go through them. I don't need the internet anymore. Thank you for providing books and helping with courses. I wish you only the best and nothing but the best.I will keep checking the thread while I finish up unpacking everything. I will report back once I've finished using up all of this paper.
the more you talk about your goals and get validation from their mere expression, the less likely you are to actually achieve them.
>>7439907Not anymore. I'm tried of this cycle, hence why I will break it. I will ever get a trip so people know that once I've returned.May this help inspire anons to never give up.
>7439901Really slow day for (you)s I take it?
>>7439901Good luck OPYour plan is a bit extreme but it might work, when you come back you should PYW for us to critic.
>>7439996Thank you, I have finished unpacking everything. I will now disconnect myselfGood bye.We all will make it.
See you tomorrow, anon.
>>7439901>resource hoardingAh. The common beginner's pitfall
>>7439901desu without community i am not sure how long you will last. artmaking is pitiless at the best of times
>>7439901Chemical castration huh, I heard it works.
>>7439901>one of these bad boys, a 5000 paper stack for me to learn how to draw>one>5000one carton of that is 2500 sheets. That aside, I was also thinking of something like this, a paper ream challenge. Tho without good discipline and plan it could easily devolve to bs doodles.
>>7440021>could easily devolve to bs doodlesThat would still work for the purpose. If you have the will to make even a lame doodle, your mind and body will still try to perform the task in a more efficient and better way each time. The only downside to this "challenge" could be some possible physical damage, but come on, people put their health in danger on a daily at work or doing any other stupid shit.
>>7439901>I have downloaded every single resource over at /asg/ and I will go through them.Fucking kek. You're NGMI.
>>7439901>>7439916I've seen this episode before
>>7439901awww man office paper is so sexy to draw
>>7440124tl;dr on this? I'm guessing he did not, in fact, make it?
>>7440208he went AWOL after around a month of progress. then became a meme and a cautionary tale in /ic/ for years.
>>7440185Stop baiting we are witnessing the next schizo and you are laughing?
>>7440124it's been so long since i've seen this guy mentionedhowies have replaced the sadlawns
>>7440284I didn't even read the thread. I just have fond memories of drawing on copy paper when I was younger. But now imma go look so thanks
>>7439901See you tomorrow.
>>7439916the fact you replied means you didn't immediately quit the internet to work, it means you made this thread, and waited with bated breath for dopamine replies, meaning you won't draw shit, will stay NGMI, and keep making dumb threads how this is the one time you actually do it.
fuck off cris
>>7440011This. It's so fucking overwhelming having so much information and so many "correct" starting places. It's much better if you just sit down with ONE book (Fun With a Pencil in my case) and start there. Otherwise, you're just gonna be paralyzed forever. It's like having too many video games and not playing any of them BECAUSE you have so many to pick from.
>>7439901>I will disconnect myself from the internet and cut the cable. I also got a drawing tablet for when I need to start using it.You *did* download the drivers first though... right?
>>7439901list the courses and resources you're learning from budgive us the timeline
