Why does anime look good and enjoyable to look at, but then when you draw it it looks so so bad? What are these proportions? Why is it that even though i am aware how fucked up it looks for some reason it doesn't bother me when looking at it? But then when ~I~ draw it all those things look so damn pronounced like what the fuck are these shapes?
>>7440258You didn't draw the same thing. Look at the line thicknesses, line directions/ articulation of the gesture of the specific part of the face. In anime all of this is extremely important. e.g. take high quality scans of keyframes/settei from anime and see the exact number of lines they use for various parts and how the angles change. It's style specific but it's a big part of the appeal. Here their faces look smooth but if you look closer you can see how the effect is achieved with multiple lines, naively tracing an outline isn't going to give the same lookhttps://files.catbox.moe/035rn2.png

>>7440258you have to feel the form more.
>>7440493this is your anime on roundeye genes
I thought the final look of anime is all corrected by 1 or 2 directors marking up inconsistent drawings from plebs.
>>7440258You didn't even finish it. And what makes you think characters in line art can only have monolids?
>>7440258It's cuz the face is beyond fucked in the original image, even for anime. Snout having ass looks retarded
>>7440258>Why does anime look good and enjoyable to look atI used to think the same when I was a weeb, nodraw but now that I'm an artist anime's laughable, specially old anime like picrel, it's so alien.
