Joining again now that i finally completed the design of this OCRosette Lumina is a fae of unclear age who always looks half-asleep, as if she’s drifting through a dream. Playful, flirty, and shamelessly open about her desires, she doesn’t care much for rules or labels—she’ll hit on anyone who catches her eye and happily chase pleasure over responsibility. Her powers let her control plants and even pull strange fragments of her dreams into reality, turning daydreams into props or weapons without warning.She works loosely with a global organization that keeps mythical creatures in check, though calling it “work” is generous. Rules bore her, authority irritates her, and she only sticks around because they feed her, keep her entertained, and once proved they could actually take her down. Most of the time she’s treated more like a stray cat than a teammate—helpful when it suits her, impossible to pin down otherwise. Rosette was once a tiny forest fairy in Eastern Europe, but the Chernobyl disaster destroyed her home and the grief pushed her to evolve into a full dryad, stronger and more human-sized. Since then, she’s wandered through life as a whimsical trickster, hiding her old scars behind sleepy smiles, teasing charm, and a lust for anything that keeps her from taking things too seriously.
This OC is named Thyme. He was a janitor of a steampunk sandclock world but he went on his own adventures. He developed so much magical time energy from many adventures, it absorbed into his belly which ballooned him out, allowing him to create anything or weapons out of his own body [Sand hammer, sand sword, etc.] It is unknown if his alignment elemental is earth, time, or air.Constructive criticism is welcome

So, based OC makers. How do you make an interesting character that you yourself will draw over and over again and obsess over? I'm kinda tired of making fanart and at the same time love drawing other peoples characters like in this thread. They just seem more fun to draw than anything I've currently come up with, how do I start changing this?
>>7742183My advice is to do a lot of iteration. While drawing your character, if there's any part that doesn't feel fun to draw, do it differently next time. Try as many different versions as you can, and don't be afraid to radically shake things up. You can always go back if you don't like your experiment. After drawing them a few dozen times, you should be left with a design where every component is fun to draw, and hopefully nice to look at all together. Don't say "OK, this is how you look, forever," until you reach that point.For my superhero gal, I settled on her dress and hair pretty early because I have fun drawing them, but her mask, cape, and gauntlets were constantly changing, and I don't think I've ever drawn her boots/greaves exactly the same way twice. I don't see myself getting tired of drawing her anytime soon. Hope that helps!

So for example at 50% Size strength, a 10 pixel brush becomes 5 pixels. What this means is that you can make sub-pixel size brushes, which allows you to draw with hair thin lines even on a lower resolution document. You'll have to see whether or not the brush engine of your software allows you to do this, though. Otherwise you'll need to draw on a higher-res document.

...Dripping Eyes. My specialty, and I was offered a wall to give it my unique stamp. But I worked nights and the commute from Jersey was something I could only do a couple times a week to paint, and as you see the punks drew all over it. So these two photos are all that's left.
I had to compose the mural on the fly,and the owner didn't like big chunks of unfinished white in his grungy dive of a bar. So I gave up,and it was sold and repainted as a yuppy watering hole.

I want to respond with art of Thyme surprised seeing fan arts, my style of the 3 pseudo-Thyme [with the tough guy looking as menacing as The Black Marketeer from Palworld] and others. I wish to say thank you with few arts and do my fillings for other OCs, but I've been having mental problems and depression issues that hold me off from drawing or doing most things. And to response the constructive criticism, the reason he looks fat/ballooned is to see uniqueness and find something to differentiate him from others, because his original form looks like "generic wizard" like Black Mage or Simirror from Kirby or such, and I want to experiment. I was a little upset trying to response, but you did say take it with grain of salt, so I understand. Alongside, I love Thyme fan art so much, and wish to post more here but I gotta do other fillings after I get some health again.
