If you're starting out then you can make massive gains consistently by just drawing. Its the int phase that's the true hell because drawing becomes the hardest thing in the world to do. I have to spend hours psyching myself up to draw by making sure I have a perfect idea ready since gains are so few and far between and its ectually too easy to get WORSE by learning bad habits. 1 in 10 of my drawings might actually be an improvement while 4 in 10 are stinkers that flop. The other 5 pictures are just neutral, so I have a 40% chance to waste my fucking time spaving away at drawing something, and a 10% chance to learn something new and actually improve. /begs/ dont have this, 9 out of 10 drawings of theirs will be pushing their limits and levleing them up.

What many artists don't understand when copying is that many animes and mangas ignore the area under the chin, with the hyoid bone and all that stuff.Like Kim Jung Gi says in pic related.Because it can make the style look off.So when someone tries to draw that character while considering the underchin, it ends up looking weird, even it's anatomically "correct".Somewhat is similar to the forced perspective used in anime/manga.When you try to adapt that to 3D animation or 3D games, you will have to bend the faces and other parts of the body, otherwise it will not have that sense of exaggerated depth of the 2D medium.IIRC, Arc System did this in Dragon Ball FighterZ and Guilty Gear (the 3D ones of course).
