Since you guys were so passionate about paint in the last thread, what watercolor brands have comparable or better pigment content to Qor?
I don't know if I can go back after these, but the price in Europe is pretty high.
I've tried Winsor and Newton, M. Graham, Sennelier, Daniel Smith, Schmincke, Roman Szmal, White Nights and don't see much of a difference between them, but Qor is noticeably more pigmented

I am oil painter, but sometimes i play around with watercolor. I dont get watercolor in tubes, i use pans. White Nights and Schminke are good. Winsor and newtons are not, too hard, too little pigment.
>Qor
Never tried those, so my opinion is basically worthless for you.

How do you sell those, don't they stay wet forever?

Yeah but who cares, as long as when it ships it is in tact the precariousness of the medium is their problem to solve and not mine. If you break a precious vase is that the vase makers problem for making it so delicate?

Why is nobody ever talking about it, i dried my paintings for years in a complete dark room. Looking back, no wonder some paintings took sooo long to dry.

the most important thing about how oil paint dries is that added heat doesn't increase drying speed like it would with most fluids. The way oil dries is through oxidization. The best possible situation for oil paint to dry on wood stretched canvas is a dry day in open air with minimal direct light exposure. the air to dry the paint, and the low moisture to prevent warping on the stretcher bars or mold on the canvas, after which most if not all residences, apartments, etc. are already basically equipped to handle art storage with how stale and uncirculated the air is now (thank the lobbyists that got cigarette smoking indoors banned for this). The uncirculated air in most homes now is also a huge reason why chemical fires from art supplies are a non-issue in today's art studios. There's no fresh air, there's no rapid oxidization of flammable substances, there's no fires.
